Dujiangyan Scenic Area, located on the main stream of Minjiang River west of Dujiangyan City, was built by Li Bing, the governor of Shu County of Qin State, and his son around 256 BC. It is the most well-preserved ancient water conservancy project in China.
Huaqing Palace has a long history. Emperors of various dynasties, including Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui and Tang, built palaces and villas here. The palace houses cultural areas such as the Tang Imperial Hot Springs Site Museum, the site of the Xi'an Incident - the Five-Room Hall, the Jiulong Lake and Furong Lake Scenic Area, the Tang Liyuan Site Museum, and iconic buildings such as the Feishuang Hall, Wanshou Hall, Changsheng Hall, Huanyuan and Yuwang Hall.

Apr 9: Picking up from Chengdu Airport, check into “Crown Plaza Chengdu Panda Garden” for 3 nights, then having hot pot for dinner before having a stroll on “Wide and Narrow Alleys”.
Apr 10: spend 4 hours in Panda Center, with feeding baby panda if lucky. Enjoy Sichuan cuisine while watching famous Fast Changing Mask Show.
Apr 11: visit Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain. Early dinner and back to hotel for resting.
Apr 12: check out for flying to Xi’an. Check into “Hualuxe Xi’an Tanghua” hotel. Visit Hui Ethnic Street for traditional Xi’an cuisine.
Apr 13: visit Terracotta Warriors, after afternoon tea, watch “Song of everlasting regret” show telling the classic romance of the last King of Tang dynasty.
Apr 14: visit Huaqing Palace, the summer villa for the King of Tang. Have a little stroll at “Theme Street of The Longest Day in Chang’an" to revisit traditional delis.
Apr 15: after breakfast, check-out and drop off local airport.
